Law school waitlist tips

I will be coming out with my latest ebook (hopefully) next week: The Nine Mistakes You Don't Want to Make on A Law School Waitlist.  In researching that ebook, I have explored the waitlist policies of a number of top law schools. I will post the feedback in several blog posts over the next several days.

Obviously, I will also post here when the book is available. If you want to be notified when the ebook is available, please sign up for an RSS feed. Alternatively, you can check back frequently.

In the meantime, check out these two article:

Hello,

My name is Michelle and I have been put on the waitlist of the one school I really thought I had no chance of getting into. I believe the reason I was put on the list was because of my lsat score. I was thinking of re-taking the exam and working for another year. I've already taken one year off and and I'm currently working for a major hedge fund. I fear that if I don't get a higher score I won't get in and will have wasted another year.

Would you happen to have any advice you could offer?

Kind Regards,

Michelle

Michelle,
Can you retake the LSAT ASAP so that perhaps you would have the new score before the school makes its decision and wouldn't have to wait another year and reapply?
