NRMP: No to Second Residency Match

The National Resident Matching Program Board ("NRMP") has decided  not to implement a second "match" instead of the current "scramble." The Board did direct its  staff to pursue additional improvements—similar to the dynamic unfilled positions list—for the post-match “scramble."

The NRMP also decided to reduce the match fee for independent applicants from $90 to $65.
