I'm taking a break from admissions with this post to write about something really important: A spunky, but very sick, little girl in desperate need of a kidney.

For years, my husband and I have been supporters of ChaiLifeline, an organization that helps seriously ill children. We met Chana at a recent event and learned about her desperate situation then.

If you are a healthy 18-25-year-old with Type-O blood, you are a possible life-saving donor. If you don't meet those qualifications, then you can spread the word to others.
