Let's Play a Game: Book Tag

I've been invited by  Diva Marketing to play a game of tag -- book tag.  So here goes. We own several hundred books, and I can't break out those that are "mine" exclusively.  I just know that last time we moved, which was 6 years ago, we had over 40 boxes of books before we lost count.

I read a lot, but frequently its periodicals and articles, and I tend to go for non-fiction books.

In any case, here's the last five I'll admit to reading:

The Ivey Guide to Law School Admission by Anna Ivey (currently reading)
The Case for Democracy by Natan Sharansky
Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert Cialdini
The Yom Kippur War by Abraham Rabinovich
The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom

Now whom should I tag? Let's see...

"And I would like to thank..."

Brit Chick, winner of numerous awards at Clear Admit's Best of Blogging 2004-05 , has posted her thank yous. However, her post  is infinitely more thoughtful and valuable than the empty blathering that typically follows awarding of an Oscar to our enlightened, articulate movie stars.

She writes about how blogging has helped her through the MBA application experience, because instead of doing everything herself, alone, she has been part of a supportive community sharing a common goal and similar experiences, albeit separated by geography. Her reflections reveal blogging at its best... as well as why she deserved her award.

Does her experience mean that all MBA applicants should blog? No. But all applicants will benefit from following at least a few blogs. You can take your pick at the League of MBA Bloggers.

Kudos to me

Somebody likes my blog!  Debbie Weil, blogging and web marketing expert, has praised my blog in response to a brief comment I posted on her blog. It's not a Bloggie award, but I'll take it. Thanks Debbie.

Wharton Knowledge Blogging Article
